Lily Stevens Becker has built her career at the intersection of government enforcement, internal investigations, corporate litigation, and compliance — and she brings it all to bear for every client she represents.
Known for an exceptional ability to quickly grasp complex products, technologies, and business systems, Lily delivers the kind of insight that matters most when the stakes are high. Whether limiting the scope of a government inquiry, structuring a thorough internal investigation, or building a compliance program that holds up to scrutiny, she combines deep substantive expertise with practical business judgment.
Lily has represented Fortune 500 companies, boards of directors, and individual executives in DOJ and SEC investigations, high-profile litigation, and cross-border compliance matters. She has conducted internal investigations — in the U.S. and internationally — into allegations of fraud, accounting manipulation, bribery, and executive misconduct. Her FCPA monitorship experience gives her unique insight into what regulators actually expect, which she puts to work advising clients on compliance strategy and program design.
She has worked on-site in 16 countries across ASEAN, EMEA, and the Americas, evaluating legal risk and implementation challenges in diverse regulatory environments.
Lily holds a J.D. from Berkeley Law and a B.A. and M.A. from Stanford University. She is admitted to practice in California, Washington, and the District of Columbia.
